Space Center Houston
The Official Visitors Center of NASA's Johnson Space Center
Mission Status Center
The space program truly comes alive in the Mission Status Center, where Mission Briefing Offices provide live updates on current space flights, astronaut training activities and details on the exploration of Mars. Visitors get a look behind-the-scenes at Johnson Space Center and other NASA facilities around the country to see astronauts train or see a shuttle launch via satellite link from Kennedy Space Center in Florida. During missions, the Mission Status Center shares communications between JSC’s Mission Control and the astronauts orbiting on board the shuttle.
