Kid's Space Place
Kids of all ages will enjoy the adventure of Kids Space Place. There’s plenty to see and do, walking on the Moon or exploring Martian Matrix. Interactive exhibits and themed areas make exploring the different aspects of space and the manned space flight program loads of fun.
Mission Kidtrol, a five station mock-up of a communications console, gives kids a chance to communicate via two-way audio and video. “Astronauts” are located in the shuttle, the Apollo command module or one of the space station simulator stations located on the upstairs level. Kids learn the importance of flight and ground crews working together as a team. Buttons and light indicators are wired so the ground crews can work with the astronauts to accomplish different tasks. Kids can run, jump, climb, slide and even crawl through over 200 feet of twisting turning FUN! Martian Matrix rises 40 feet high and covers 600 square feet. It is simply the ultimate kid’s reality challenge.
